The process of becoming a qualified NLP practitioner, was a very enlightening experience. Being taught methods and techniques to open new chambers of my brains capacity while being coached into how to maximise my brains potential, Very liberating. For any of you that have seen the film “ LIMITLESS” (starring (Bradley Cooper). Storyline is he consumes a pill that enables him to utilise a higher percentage of his brain. Making him a near on pro at everything he turned his hand to. Well NLP is the obtainable version of that pill. Right back at you Bradley!
NLP was created more than 40 years ago by Richard Bandler and John Grinder
- NEURO means relating to the nervous system
- LINGUISTIC is about language
- PROGRAMMING refers to habits
NLP says we create our own reality
These Maps,or worldview, are filtered by our senses, experiences, beliefs and neurology. In other words, many of the challenges we have are based upon our perceptions of the world.
“SO THE WORLD CHANGES IN RELATION TO OUR PERCEPTION”
Therefore, if we can improve the way we take in and use sensory information, then we can improve our performance in a multitude of areas within our lives.
So now imagine directing that newly formulated “ upgraded” perception, towards yourself.
Start climbing that corporate ladder, take full grasp of your nutritional intake, propel your physical & phycological well being, improve your communication skills, become more confident, address your finances, get a date with Sarah from the gym who you’ve always watched in awe from afar.
